Drawing from the experience of attending a physician’s residency match ceremony, I explore a vital leadership principle: the need to continually reexamine my views of others as they evolve and develop new talents.
Too often we get stuck in outdated perceptions, failing to appreciate the ongoing expansion of human potential. The transition from child to adult vividly showcases our ability to transform through dedication and lifelong learning. As a leader, my career becomes exponentially richer when I embrace this growth mindset – seeing each team member with fresh eyes, providing nurturing environments, and honoring the ever-unfolding kaleidoscope of potential that surrounds me.
