The Ryan Report: March 2022

Welcome to this month’s Ryan Report filled with news to use and ideas to share.  This month I share the 3rd of 4 videos looking at Competencies and Careerpathing, and I outline the 4 basic building blocks your career path design efforts will result in and how you can then expand and add additional blocks of competencies to craft your, unique, framework to evaluate the level of expertise current employees have. Can you imagine a 60-year career? I can and share the ways we can use this as an opportunity to broaden and build curious performers that can help our flexible workforce. We need to expand the discussions that center on returning to the office, management and the workers are not in alignment, and we need to find solutions that will meet the needs of the business and will make staying a positive action for the employee. And some ideas to help people perform better (and training might not be the answer!).

If you would like to talk more about using learning as a strategic business tool to impact your team let’s Zoom or even use the phone to talk because together, we are stronger and we don’t need being remote or at a distance to keep us from connecting and engaging – let’s learn and work together!  I’ll bring some coffee….
