The Ryan Report: November 2021

Welcome to this month’s Ryan Report filled with news to use and ideas to share.  This month I share thoughts on space as a new frontier (apologies to Star Trek) that we can begin to use differently than we have before providing greater flexibility, is multi-functional, and supports a wide range of technology to blur the lines between in-person and remote conversations while supporting active collaboration. I also look at how flexibility extends into our view of control and autonomy along with ways our performance is impacted by our connection to the purpose of the work being done. Finally, there’s data to back up the idea that we don’t need to keep the camera on all the time so let’s connect to talk because together we are stronger and we don’t need being remote or at a distance to keep us from connecting and engaging – let’s learn and work together!  I’ll bring some coffee…. ,
